Installing fire protection in buildings reduces emissions. Preventing fires reduces the tons of carbon dioxide that is produced during a fire.

TWCE Plantech is the one of the few Fire Consulting company in the country that has two registered Green Star accredited professionals. Each of them has completed the Green Building Council of South Africa course that was launched to assist engineers with training in environmentally sound practices.

This type of education is seen as a vital part of our understanding of how we can contribute to Green Buildings. We always face the challenge to stay ‘green’ in terms of the materials and designs we use for example, the design of an efficient sprinkler and fire system which can reduce the amount of water used and to what degree this is recycled.
